As a Bachelor student at RSM you have the opportunity to conduct an internship to meet 25 EC of the first half of the 3rd year. An internship can offer you the chance to experience real business life, to put theories you have learned into practice, and to develop relevant business skills. It will also help you to choose your master and future career.

In contrast to the rigorous academic coursework you have done so far, the internship allows you to do practical and experiential learning. Before the start of the internship, you challenge yourself by setting goals for new skills, attitudes and/or knowledge you want to acquire. During the internship, you continuously monitor and reflect on the realization of these goals and seek feedback on your performance from the people you are working with - specifically your internship supervisor.

At the end of the internship, you will hold a presentation (including Q&A) for your academic coach, where you will be assessed on these activities. Prior to the presentation, you submit a portfolio in which you reflect on the new insights you have gained from the internship experience.

  • The 25 EC internship must last at least 14 weeks full-time (40 hours a week) in Block 3.1 and 3.2.

For a longer internship, please check the course manual on Canvas for more information.

Once you have found an internship, the first step is to register your internship via Osiris Student in order to be assigned an academic coach. Click on "case" (or "zaak" in Dutch), navigate to RSM BSc Internship application (academic year), fill out the required fields and submit your internship proposal.
