The premaster is a one-year programme and must normally be completed within one academic year.
A second academic year is only available if you are unable to complete the programme within the first year. It is not intended as an alternative study pace. Enrolment for a third year is also not permitted. If you are experiencing personal circumstances that may affect your studies, please contact the student advisers.
Your grades and credits remain valid for two consecutive years for admission to an RSM master’s programme.
If you have a uninterrupted enrollment /registration in year one, you do not need to pay the tuition fee again in year 2. However, do not forget to arrange your re-enrollment in Studielink before the end of the academic year.
After your re-enrollment in Studielink, you will be automatically enrolled in Osiris in year 2 by premaster programme management for the courses you have not yet passed. Please find more information on fees on this website.
Special rule for students with a Dutch study residence permit
Dutch Immigration Services (IND) requires you to finish the pre-master within one academic year.
Application for the master
If you do not finish the premaster in one year, you cannot automatically start the master. You must either defer your admission (if this is possible for your programme) or submit a new master application in your second premaster year.
