In the 2025-2026 academic year there will be several changes in the Bachelor curriculum. On this page, you will find all the details about the updated programme and what they mean for you.
We encourage you to complete your courses within the nominal timeframe as much as possible to ensure a smooth study experience with minimal disruptions. If you are studying outside the nominal timeframe, rest assured that appropriate solutions will be available. Details on these solutions will soon be published on our website.

Bachelor 1
The overview above shows our new Bachelor 1 curriculum. An important change:
The schedule of Bachelor 1 courses has been adjusted to align with the new academic calendar. If you need to retake a Bachelor 1 course, please be mindful of these changes, especially that exams for Bachelor 1 and Bachelor 2 will now take place in the same weeks. Some course names will change (indicated in light blue), the content stays comparable.
Bachelor 2
The overview above shows our new Bachelor 2 curriculum. Important changes include:
- Course schedule: Due to the new academic calendar, some courses have shifted blocks (indicated in light blue blocks). If you need to retake a Bachelor 2 course, please be mindful of these changes.
- New course in International business: The course Entrepreneurship will be replaced by a new course in International business (indicated in red), designed to better equip you for a career in the international business environment in an ever-evolving global landscape. The course will primarily focus on multinational cooperations, covering key topics such as foreign entry modes, global value chains, various forms of multinational cooperations, and their corporate responsibility.
- Credit changes: The Technology management course will be increased by 1 EC, while Strategic management will be reduced by 1 EC (indicated in red). This adjustment aligns the workload with the new academic calendar and enhances optimal preparation for emerging developments in technology and management.
- Name change: The name of the current course Research project will be changed to Quantitative research methods (indicated in light blue), the content stays comparable.
Bachelor 3
In the overview above, you can see our new Bachelor 3 curriculum. Important changes are:
- Course schedule: Due to the new academic calendar, some courses have shifted blocks. If you need to retake a Bachelor 3 course, please be mindful of these changes.
- Two new core courses (indicated in red):
- International business the Dutch way will replace Digital business. While your curriculum
has focused entirely on international business, this course will introduce you to the
unique characteristics of the Dutch multinational business environment, providing
valuable insights and opportunities for a future career in the Netherlands.
- Methods master classes will extend on the Bachelor 2 course Quantitative research methods to better prepare you for the Bachelor project.
- New Tracks: In the second half of Bachelor 3, you will be able to choose from three revised tracks which will be exclusively available to IBA students. This means you will not share tracks with Bedrijfskunde students. The new tracks will focus on highly relevant and timely topics in International business. See overview above.
- Name change: The name of the current course Advanced research methods will be changed to Advanced research skills (indicated in light blue), the content stays comparable.
