All RSM electives are worth 5 EC and will terminate before the tracks start in block 12 (mid-February). For more information per elective course, please consult the Course Catalogue. If no information is available for the current academic year, you may have to select the course from the previous academic year (subject to change). Block 10 RSM Electives 2024-2025

RSM offers the following elective courses in block 10 (November-December). Some electives are taught completely online, most electives are taught on campus. Students are allowed to follow only one RSM elective in block 10:

RSM offers the following elective courses in block 11 (January-February). The electives in section A and B take place in the same period and are taught on campus. Students can follow two RSM electives in block 11, max one elective from section A and max one elective from section B:

*For the elective Advanced Business Communication Skills it is advised to have level C1.1 English in both speaking and writing. Please also note that this course has mandatory attendance and is assessed as pass/fail - it will not impact your GPA.



Registration RSM electives block 10 & 11

Registration process

Students can register their preferences for the RSM electives in block 10 and/or block 11 from 1 September - 30 September via OSIRIS. At the end of October, an allocation tool will conduct a lottery to assign students to elective courses. The lottery will consider the order of preferences students submitted but does not guarantee placement in the most preferred electives. 


Limited capacity 

Please note that each RSM elective has a maximum capacity, which may result in some students not being placed in any RSM elective. It is therefore advised to have a back-up plan prepared in case primary choices are unavailable (see alternative elective options).


Missed deadline

If you miss the registration deadline, please contact Bachelor 3 as soon as possible. Please note that it may not be possible to register you for an RSM elective anymore. We advise you to consider alternative elective options if we are unable to register you.
